About the role
Funneled gives performance marketers a way to build and optimize high-converting funnels. The design challenge is making powerful tools feel simple: drag-and-drop funnel builders, real-time analytics dashboards, split testing interfaces, and conversion tracking - all without overwhelming the user.
As founding designer, you’ll own the entire product design surface. You’ll work directly with engineering and users to ship interfaces that make funnel building intuitive. This isn’t about making things pretty (though we care about craft) - it’s about making powerful tools usable.
What you’ll do
- Design end-to-end product experiences from concept to shipped pixels
- Build and maintain the design system
- Conduct user research and usability testing with early adopters
- Define information architecture for complex data-heavy interfaces
- Create prototypes to validate ideas quickly before engineering commits
What we’re looking for
- Portfolio showing complex product design (dashboards, developer tools, data-heavy interfaces)
- Strong systems thinking - you design for edge cases, not just happy paths
- Ability to work directly in code (HTML/CSS) or very close to it
- Experience designing for technical users who value clarity over decoration
- You’ve shipped designs, not just Figma files
Nice to have
- Experience designing marketing tools or conversion-focused products
- Background in data visualization or real-time interfaces
- Familiarity with Svelte, Tailwind, or modern frontend tooling
- Experience as the first or only designer at a startup
