Platform Engineer

About the role

Funneled hosts and serves funnels on behalf of users. Each funnel needs fast page loads, custom domains, SSL, and real-time analytics. You’ll build and operate the platform that makes this work reliably at scale.

This is infrastructure with direct product impact. When a funnel loads faster, conversion rates go up. When hosting is bulletproof, users trust us with their production campaigns. You’ll own the layer between “user clicks publish” and “funnel goes live.”

What you’ll do

• Build the hosting infrastructure - CDN, edge rendering, custom domain management
• Design isolation boundaries so each customer’s funnels are secure and performant
• Implement observability infrastructure - logs, metrics, traces, performance tracking
• Optimize page load times and rendering efficiency
• Build tooling for the team to deploy, debug, and operate the platform

What we’re looking for

• Deep experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar)
• Strong systems programming skills (Go, Rust, or low-level TypeScript/Node)
• Understanding of networking, security, and resource isolation
• Experience operating production infrastructure and being on-call
• You’ve debugged production incidents where the answer wasn’t in the logs

Nice to have

• Experience building multi-tenant hosting platforms
• Background in CDN or edge computing infrastructure
• Familiarity with SSR and page rendering optimization
• Experience with cost optimization at scale
